The VISION AVTR also comes equipped with advanced driving features designed to maximize both driver safety and comfort. Sensors and cameras detect obstacles or vehicles on the road and adjust its speed and trajectory accordingly; advanced driver assistance systems help drivers stay within their lane, keep an appropriate distance distance between themselves and other cars on the road and park their car as necessary.
VISION AVTR stands out with its “bionic flaps”, which open and close to adjust aerodynamics of the car. Furthermore, there’s also its “one bow” design, eliminating traditional front grilles while its digital light system displays images or messages onto roads.
Overall, the Mercedes-Benz VISION AVTR concept car stands out as an attractive and innovative showcase of their vision for mobility in the future. Boasting advanced engineering design features as well as eco-friendly materials and cutting-edge tech innovations, its presence offers insight into what lies ahead for automotive technology in general.
Mercedes-Benz VISION AVTR concept car features an electric drivetrain without emissions that is equipped with a total 114kWh battery pack to allow this concept car to cover over 700 kilometers (435 miles on one charge) from beginning to end. Wirelessly charging via an inductive plate in the floor charging is supported for convenient fast-charging networks compatibility.
The VISION AVTR features an advanced suspension system capable of adjusting ride height and suspension settings to offer a more comfortable journey. Furthermore, four-wheel steering allows it to turn quickly on a dime as well as torque vectoring technology to increase handling stability and overall car control.
Mercedes VISION comes equipped with advanced driver assistance features like “E-Active Body Control,” which adjusts suspension settings in real time to improve handling and comfort, as well as “Car-to-X,” which enables communication among vehicles and infrastructure to enhance traffic flow and enhance traffic safety.
The VISION AVTR concept car features 33 motors – one for every wheel – which allow it to move in any direction and even rotate on its axis, thanks to “AVTR Drive,” or Advanced Vehicle Transformation technology. As such, this unique vehicle seems more like a creature than just another regular automobile.
This car features an “digital light” system which projects images and messages onto the road surface for communication with other road users. Furthermore, its “one bow” design eliminates traditional front grilles; whilst its “bionic flaps” at the rear allow its driver to customize aerodynamic performance accordingly.
